Works great!

I would say that this application does what it states. My screen does dim in the background which helps me concentrate on my work.

The only downside to this is if you are watching Netflix on Safari and want to type up a word document on Word, you cannot do both without sacraficing Netflix into that dark background. It would be nice if this was implemented in some creative way.
